Summer: Imminent yet Elusive.

I make a to-do list every time I have the chance. Always. On paper, on my palm, everywhere.

I misplace them though. Always. Throw them away, get smudged, everytime.

Now since I always go online, I think Multiply will take good care of my list of things to do before summer officially kicks off. (The heat, seemingly, is REALLY excited though. School days aren't over and it's now as hot as hell.)

1. Revise revise revise for CW10. Eight paper revisions baby! (2 POVs, 2 dialogue, 2 character sketch, an artist date and the final paper) // 31 March

2. Write an EXCELLENT (and intimidating, ehem) final paper for Geog1 so that Sir Eman won't have room to complain haha! // 26 March

3. Meet with groupmates in Geog1 to devise a final project. AVP mehn! What to do? // 19 March

4. Execute what was planned in number 3. // 24 March

5. Study for Geog1's group exam. // 26 March

6. Do well in Geog1's takehome exam. (Yes it has that MANY requirements hahaha!) // 26 March

Soup.

Something bothers me. (Or no, make that some things.)

1. This weekend was a blur. It was like a gray area where you can't tell what the bad news is from the good one. Good news was that I didn't have major academic work to do. Sundays were usually devoted for reviewing suggested problems for ES11, yet I always end up checking out the solutions manual. ES11 labs are now things of the past and I DEFINITELY do not plan to encounter them AGAIN. Ever. So now that I have nothing to do on Sundays, something haunts me -- and here, the good news becomes the bad. It's this point where I just conjure random ideas in my mind and I always end up feeling bad. It's like something big and heavy and hardcore is waiting for me as payment to this free and petiks weekend.

2. My CW10 prof mentioned something about middle age, and it scared the hell out of me. He said that being middle aged (say late 20s to early 30s) is the point wherein life stops giving and starts taking away. It's when your parents are dying, you are on your own, your friends take different paths and make lives of their own. The thought is just plain sad and scary.

3. Old school Jason Mraz music is beautiful, and the world is dysfunctional.

4. Labels are problematic. We had a discussion on PanPil17 reagrding some issues on sexuality and religion. The major conflict I think that this world has is that it sticks too much on labels. Categorizing people. Distinguishing one from the other. Black. White. Straight. Homo. Rich. Poor. Christian. Muslim. People never stop finding ways of separating themselves from the other and it is the human truth and tragedy -- that we always speak of unity, of togetherness, yet we are the very same people who make these things impossible to attain. One thought struck me: On the atomic level, we are all of the same species. Just a thought to ponder on.

4. I don't know why some people spell whoa as woah. Yes, they sound alike.. but I dunno.

5. Some people think they can, so they do. Some cross the street wisely. Others do not need constant reminders that they do exist, and that they are important -- of a certain value to others. Some people stick to their own beliefs, while respecting the belief of others. There are people who love people no matter what. Some people are better. Some think -- and act. And to the people mentioned above, I extend to you my pure admiration and gratitude and appreciation. And to a selected few, the only thing I can extend to you is my middle finger.

TEN RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME

1. Dalawang beses ako nag-grade one. Una akong nag-grade one sa Mary's Little Angels Montessori school sa Calipahan, Nueva Ecija. Ewan ko iba na daw pangalan netong school na 'to ngayon. Share lang, baka kasi balak nyo puntahan. Bumalik kami sa Manila para magenrol ako sa St Joseph School sa Tondo pero di ako tinaggap kasi underage pa ko. So bumalik ako ng Nueva Ecija para mag-grade one uli sa La Torre Elementary School. So yeah, sayang isang taon. Parehas naman akong first honors so hindi pa ko bobo nung bata ako. If you do the Math, dapat 3rd year college na ko ngayon which pretty much scares me. Una. kasi isang malaking kasabawan na ang acads ko ngayon, what more kung umadvance pa ko ng isang taon. Ikalawa, kung higher year ako, sobrang daming magbabago. Hindi ko makikilala ang mga taong nakilala ko all throughout school life. O diba. No regrets.

2. The best part about buying new stuff is that I get to peel price tags. Sorry favorite ko talaga. Hahaha. Okay ang random neto. Ang sarap lang talaga magpeel ng price taaaags.

3. My body has a built-in Deluminator. I have this weird experience which kept on recurring that when I pass by a lamp post, it suddenly turns on or turns off. And nope, I'm not kidding nor dreaming here. Seryoso 'to.

4. I easily forget stuff. Really. Say, for example, I go upstairs to fetch something. I climb the stairs and when I am there, I already forget what I was supposed to get. Grr. This one really gets into my nerves at times. Otherwise, I just laugh it off. TTL.

5. Pizza makes me poop. LOL. Or maybe it's the quantity. ;)

6. A big part of me is non-conformist. I rarely go to church. Once something goes mainstream, meaning a lot of people like it, it suddenly loses appeal to me. I watched Heroes and the next day everyone watches it na din, so hindi ko na pinanuod. Kaya di ko alam kung bakit ko 'to sinasagutan. Haha baka siguro napressure ako kay Iris :p

7. Natutuwa ako sa kahit anong lugar na may aircon and/or may chickenjoy.

8. Wag kang mag-alala, naniniwala pa rin akong may higher supreme being. The world is too beautiful, complex and amazing para maging isang malaking coincidence lang. Say, for example, the nuclear force holding the universe was 2% (a very small amount) stronger than it is now, then di-protons would be stable and hydrogen would not fuse into deuterium and helium, totally revising the physics of the stars, making life on the universe impossible. :)

9. I am lazy beyond compare. Tulad ngayon, I should be studying for ES11's lab session tomorrow pero all I did was to stare at the book and sleep. I slept for 17 hours kanina. Oha.
